Reel Thing Productions is currently in production with the film “Bag IT,” a feature-length documentary that examines the impacts of plastic on environmental and human health and showcases a number of alternatives and solutions.

Filming has taken us to Hawaii, the Bahamas, California, New York, Washington, Indiana, Virginia, Michigan and Colorado. In May, we head to England, Ireland, Germany and Switzerland, and in July the crew will be traveling to Midway Atoll in the middle of the Pacific to document the impact of plastics on the Laysan Albatross.

Production wraps in July, with an anticipated release date in the fall of 2009.

Founder, Suzan Beraza, was born in Jamaica, and raised in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.
